The Duties and functions of Mess
Committee are as follows : |

To plan and
finalized the menu and to suggest change there in
within existing financial norms.
-
To supervised the
the quality of food stuff procured for the Vidyalaya
mess and the preparation of food to cook in mess.
-
To suggest ways
and means for making local purchased of fresh
provisions, reduction in wastage of food,
maintenance of proper discipline in the mess and
maintenance of cleanliness in the dining hall and
surrounding.

To suggest and
implement an effective serving system in the dinning
hall.
To
improve the quality of food in the mess District Level
committees and regional level Committees have been
constitute under chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner of
the NVSRO and Collector/ADM . The composition of the
proposed Committees at Regional and district level and

The
responsiblities entrusted to the above Commitee are as
below |
The committee shall:
-
Periodically visit
the Vidyalayas and examine the regular menu
including the nutritious value of food served.
-
To oversee the
effective function, of the mess planning & execution
of the mess committee.
-
To undertake
surprise check to ensure of quality of ration like
rice,atta, dal, oil,milk,vegetables.
-
To supervise the
procedure and discipline followed in and around the
dinning hall.
-
To inspect the
sanitation facilities in and around the kitchen and
dinning hall.
-
To have
interaction with the students about the quality and
quantity of food serve.
-
to suggest
guidelines for the improvement of quality and
quantity of food within the financial allocation.

To look into
related issues.
